How do you say “ponorková nemoc” in English?
This word is been coming up a lot in lessons recently. (Can you guess why?) So, how do you say it?

The best way I’ve found to say it are two different English idioms.

Stir crazy and cabin fever.
Stir crazy is more of a personal thing. Last year my son was stuck home at the beginning of summer with a broken arm. Even though he wanted to go skateboarding he couldn’t. That’s stir crazy. Being cooped up in the house, or somewhere and not being able to be active.

Cabin fever is more about being around a group of people for a long time. Just imagine being stuck in cabin in the woods with the same group of people. You can’t escape or go anywhere. After a while, you start feeling cabin fever

That’s all for today. Talk to you soon.
Keep thriving,

Tomorrow I’ll let you know how feeling stir crazy and having cabin fever has affected me.
